A day in the life of Zoë

Zoë doesn’t take her phone or her alarm clock, or anything for that matter, into the bedroom. Because of that, she sleeps better at night but she also has to stand up, go to the kitchen and shut off her alarm. This makes her wake up as quickly as possible.
Off to work
Zoë takes a public electric bike to work. She doesn’t want to take the car but she has to work in a team the entire day so she can’t show up all sweaty from taking a normal bike. When she arrives at work, she takes two hours by herself to focus on what she needs to do that day and to start the day with a clean slate. After that, the first set-up meeting of the team begins.
Zoë tries to really take her time for lunch. No mails, no work-talk, just focusing on what she’s eating and the conversation with her colleagues. Next to sometimes going out for lunch with her colleagues she tries to make a balanced lunch provided by the university she works for.
Shut off from work
When she comes home she tries to take her partner outside as much as possible. Open air, that’s what she and her wife crave. After that, they always try to do at least one thing that isn’t just watching tv. Meeting up with friends, reading books, playing sports, volunteering, listening to podcasts, cooking together, and much more. What matters most is that they do it together.
Shut off from the world
Going to bed is always as relaxing as possible. Zoë and her partner pay close attention to their eating, electronic use and mindset before going to bed.
